Golden Sage Movement is a small business in Townsville North Queensland. The owner is trained in a variety of health and personal improvement disciplines and offers many options in personal improvement for mind, body and soul.

The client wished to have a website that was very simple to negotiate with relevent information close at hand and very few “bells and whistles”. The website was to have a clean, serene, comforting feel, with uplifting imagery taken by the client over the years, as well as stock imagery. Colours and fonts were chosen to suit the existing branding colour palette and logo.

As the client’s business develops, scope for expansion needed to be incorporated, so the website has been developed using the WordPress Content Management System (CMS), with the Divi block style template. This way the site can grow and evolve with the business.

Home Page

The Home Page contains the client’s branding image with logo, a brief introduction and then a short decription of each discipline offered along with image links. This way the visitor can go straight to the offering they are interested in if they wish, or continue down the page to learn a little more.

The client shares inspirational quotes throughout the website and each page has a section devoted to a quote that is relevent to the discipline described. The Home Page includes an important quote, speaking to the core of the business.

It is always important to include Testimonials where possible and these are displayed in the cheery, branding colours and can be added to or changed at any time more are gathered.

Information Pages

Information pages contain an introduction to each discipline offered, describing what the offering is, how it works and what the benefits are. Class details can be accessed from each page via the Services page, as the client is still developing a full program of classes/workshops etc. Once this has been developed, new content about this can be added on these pages and/or other pages specifically designed for this, depending on the client’s needs.

Footers

The Footer on each page of the website contains a Thank You and contact information, as well as a subscription section as the client was developing a newsletter to communicate the latest developments in the business. Visitors can also contact the client through the Contact Form on the Contact Page.
