Rebecca at Inspiring Hope Psychology contacted LMM Design Envision on the recommendation of another client who passed on our contact details.
The website Rebecca wished to create was to be clean and simple, with a view to expansion over time. The development of an online presence was something that Rebecca knew to be essential in today’s world and getting a start was important.
A natural feel with nature/greenery images was requested. Icons were to be utilised to keep the website concise with minimal scrolling, allowing the visitor to understand the offerings of the practice easily.
LMM Design Envision has created a website that allows Inspiring Hope Psychology to develop that online presence and provide links to the site from other relevant websites, expanding their visibility in a very competitive and important field.
The website has been developed using the WordPress Content Management System (CMS), with the Divi block style template. The client was given a tutorial in the use of the CMS so that they can carry out smaller changes to the website. But LMM Design Envision is always available if more comprehensive changes are required.
The business’s logo incorporates a seedling as a symbol of nuturing and growth, fitting with the vision of “Inspiring Hope” which is how the business’s name arose. Images were selected of seedlings being nutured for this reason and this aligned with the nature/greenery feel requested. A green and brown palette of colours was chosen to fit with this theme and soft, liquid like dividers were chosen to keep the pages flowing and gentle.
The specialties of the business are shown symbolically, so that the visitor can discover these at a glance. The visitor is encouraged to contact the business throughout the site as this can sometimes be difficult for visitors searching for this type of business.
Each page footer shows the business location, as well as a number of relevant contacts, including business contacts and emergency contacts, due to the anture of the business. Office hours are also shown.
A simple Contact Form, Contact options and Message were included on the Contact page to give visitors options for contact. Emergency contacts were also included. It is hoped that visitors will take the next step to getting support from here in whichever way feels right to them.
