The client wished to create a website with a calm, non-threatening feel, due to the nature of it’s clientele. Contacts needed to be easily found, as well as the business’s location. The business’s opening times were to be shown at the top of all pages. The business wished to display a story of their philosophy, that drew the user to scroll down and read more.
The business’s Psychologists needed to be displayed prominently on the Home page, with links to further information on qualifications and biography. The encouraging, positive business vision was to be shown clearly, in an uncluttered and easy to read fashion. The business location was shown on a map on the Contact page.
The client requested the ability to perform simple website changes in house. Therefore, the website was developed using a Joomla Content Management System (CMS). A simple tutorial in the operation of the CMS was included in the website design fee.
