In a joint venture between Sundalah and LMM Design Envision, the Sundalah CommUNITY Magazine was created as a yearly publication to connect the local community and beyond, by showcasing the many wonderful wellness offerings available in the Townsville region.
To support and promotion this publication, the Sundalah CommUNITY Magazine Website was developed.
The website displays previous articles in the easy to find and read manner. Potential advertisers can purchase advertising space. This process is also easy to find and navigate, which sometimes is an issue with sites of this type. Those who are inspired to Submit an Article can also do so through the site.
The website has been developed using the WordPress Content Management System (CMS). Extra security and SEO plugins have been utilised to keep the site secure, but easy to find on a browser.
Advertising options are shown in a visual manner, so that potential advertisers can easily understand the dimensions of the space and relative sizing (on desktop and larger tablets). E-commerce solutions needed to be incorporated, with PayPal and Direct Deposit options.
An online version of each issue of the magazine was a more recent addition to the website and can be viewed via the View Issues menu item.
A PDF viewer plugin is utilised for this purpose. Magazines that can be viewed online increase reach, which is very important in this age of the internet and a benefit to advertisers and other contributors to the magazine.
Controls allow the visitor to flip through the magazine as if it was a paper issue. There are even sound affects! Just click below to go to the Issue page of the website.
